The Arc4life Cervical Linear Traction Pillow is not your average fiber filled pillow that you will find at your local retail store.
Its really person to person, and it depends on what you have going on in your neck. For some people they will be able to use the pillow, no problem right from the start. They will sleep soundly, and wake with no pain whatsoever.
However some individuals need to gradually increase the usage in stages because of some muscle soreness from such a change from their previous neck pillow. This is likely to happen to customers who have very acute or chronic neck pain. Any type of change needs to be introduced gradually. Remember you will be using different muscles and ligaments of the neck when you sleep on this pillow. Anyone with a lot of sensitivity (this goes for someone who has tried a lot of pillows, but cannot seem to find the right one), should only use the pillow for the first few nights one half hour to an hour, and then gradually increase the time on the pillow.

Most people will order the medium cervical traction neck pillow. It is a standard size pillow that fits for most people. If you are a petite person (5 ft, 5 ft 1", the pillow may be too large for you. But if you are used to using a standard size pillow it will be okay for you. 

We recommend the large traction pillow for customers who are over 6'0  and built like a football player. But this is just a guideline, if you like a large pillow, order the large traction pillow.

There are two special sides to the traction pillow:

The cervical traction neck pillow is shipped via Fedex Home or Ground and can take 2-7 days for delivery. Our office is located in Glastonbury, Connecticut- in the northeast. If you live in MA, you will receive the neck pillow in 2-3 business days once we ship out. If you live in CA, the shipment may take up to 7 business days. If you provide an email address at check out we will send you a tracking number, so you can go to www.fedex.com and track your package. The neck pillow will arrive in a 24 x 18 x 5 brown box weighing approximately 3.8 lbs. The actual pillow is 1.15 lbs. We can ship to a residential or commercial address.

Fedex will ship to a PO Box (it uses a service called SMART POST) but this service does take 2-3 days longer.  

The cost for shipping via fedex is $10.90

If you are an international customer, email us and we will send you the shipping rates to your country. We ship worldwide to Canada, UK, Australia, Singapore, Finland, Denmark, India just to name a few! 

When we ship internationally, we use the US Postal Service, priority Mail or Express Mail. Please be patient with international Shipping. It can take 8-17 days. We do not ship via internationally through Fedex, UPS or any other carrier because of the high cost.

Payment for all international requests must be completed via our paypal terminal. There are no exceptions to this. We do not take international orders over the telephone. Once you receive the email with the shipping quote, email us back that you wish to continue. We will email you an invoice. Paypal is simply a terminal to make payment. You do not need a paypal account to complete the payment. We will also ask you to send us your full shipping address and telephone number to our email address. 

Finally, your country may add customs charges to your shipment once it arrives in your country. We have seen this in the UK, AU and Canada. We are not aware of the customs fees for each country. You will be responsible for these fees if they are incurred.
Also, Please do not ask us to change the Value of the product that we are shipping to you.  The full value will be stated on the US Customs Form. In case the product gets lost in transit, and we have to file a claim, this is how you will get reimbursed, and get shipped out new product.
